Workshops :
- On Monday at 4.30 pm: "Gardening"
Children discover what gardens are used for, how to maintain them, and what are the environmental and friendly ways to do it. Afterwards, they are invited to have their own experience by sowing seeds in the garden to leave a beautiful trace of their time at the castle.
- On Tuesday at 4.30 pm: "Tale and Taste"
Come discover the tale " Marion et la vie qui bat ", by Roxanne Turcotte. This tale, inspired from the story of the grand-mother of the château's inhabitants, explains to the children the differences between Court and Poultry-yard.
After the reading of the book, a snack is proposed to the children.
- On Wenesday and Thursday at 4.30 pm: "Bread Baking"
Located in the domestic quarters from the 18th century, the oven is turned on so the children can learn to make bread in the old way. The workshop ends with the degustation of the hot bread.
- On Friday at 4.30 pm : "Coat of arms"
With this workshop, children learn how heraldic was born and the symbolic of colors. They will realise their own coat of arms that they will bring back home.
